| Our stay at the ' apple-house' was very nice. The house itself is cosy and clean and has everything one needs (kitchengear, enhough towels, etc). The best thing of this place is the big garden: especially for kids it's nice to be able to play and run around. furthermore: there is a lounge area and a nice table where it's possible to eat with 4-8 people. Don't forget to look at the stars at night. Madalena and Rita are the people who welcomed us and showed us the house. They are lovely, warm people who find it very important that their guests feel at home. A welcome drink and something to eat was provided, and even a present :). Communication was easy with them: they responded and helped in any way possible. When our son got sick they even came to the medical centre to help us out with the Portuguese language. This was exceptionally nice and helpful (thanks again!). There are many beaches that are easily reached from the house (20-30 min drive). Also, there is a big playground about 500 meters away that is awesome for kids and their parents: there are picknicktables, a BBQ area, a playground and it is possible to work out. (it's in the direction of the light house, on the right hand site next tot the road). It is good to know that the house is located next to a busy road. The garden however, is at the back of the house, so you don't see the cars from there. We recommend this place! M. Temme A cliente não registado - Portugal |
